ExtenZe Knockoff - FDA Warning

The FDA has issued a warning about counterfeit ExtenZe pills. The fake pills have been found to contain tadalafil and sildenafil, which are the active ingredients in the prescription drugs Viagra and Cialis. The knockoff pills are said to look like the herbal Extenze supplement, and are marked with the lot numbers 1110075 and F050899.

The FDA lab analysis warns that the tadalafil and sildenafil found in these pills may react to some other medications, like nitrates, found in prescription medications, causing blood pressure rates to drop to dangerous levels. If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease and are currently on medication for them your medication probably contain nitrates.

The FDA has asked consumers to stop taking these pills and to see your doctor about any side effects that you may have noticed.
